Regular Season Round 31: Astros - Santos 106-90

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Astros (17-12) won against at home 8th ranked Santos (9-19) 106-90. Astros players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists. American-Puerto Rican Devon Collier (203-91, college: Oregon St.) fired 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Naturalized Puerto Rican guard Joseph Soto (190-93) chipped in 8 points and 9 assists. American center BJ West (211-89, college: Jackson St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and American-Puerto Rican Wil Martinez (188-92, college: Fairmont St.) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Four Santos players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Astros have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Newly promoted Astros maintains fifth place with 17-12 record. Santos at the other side keep the eighth position with 19 games lost. Astros' next round opponent will be again Santos (#8) in San Luis Potosi.
