Regular Season Round 15: Le Havre - Vitre 71-64

Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Vitre (7-8) was defeated on the road by third ranked STB Le Havre (11-4) 71-64 on Tuesday. STB Le Havre outrebounded Vitre 41-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Romain Dardaine (201-88) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. STB Le Havre's coach Herve Coudray used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Robert Turner (188-93, college: Texas Tech, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 14 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Louis Prolhac (175-91) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. STB Le Havre moved-up to second place in Group A. Loser Vitre dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. STB Le Havre will face Vanves (#14) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vitre will play against Toulouse (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
