Regular Season Round 52: Miami Heat - LA Lakers 110-113

The most crucial game of the last day was a loss of Heat (18-7) in Miami on Friday night. Hosts were edged by Lakers (23-3) 113-110. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Heat. They outrebounded Heat 50-34 including 36 on the defensive glass. Lakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Lakers made 9 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of LeBron James (203-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 9 rebounds and 12 assists and center Anthony Davis (208-93, college: Kentucky) who added 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds during the contest. Lakers' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side swingman Jimmy Butler (201-89, college: Marquette) responded with 23 points and 4 steals and Bam Adebayo (208-97, college: Kentucky) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Lakers and five Heat players scored in double figures. Lakers have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-3 record, which they share with Milwaukee B. Heat at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost. Lakers will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Heat will play on the road against the league's leader Mavericks in Dallas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
