Regular Season Round 10: Nantes - Paris 79-56

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Nantes (7-4) outplayed at home 15th ranked Paris (3-7) 79-56 on Friday. They outrebounded Paris 37-26 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tunisian Mourad El-Mabrouk (194-86) notched 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Seychellois center Abdel-Kader Sylla (204-90) supported him with 6 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 9 points and 5 rebounds by center Garry Florimont (202-87) did not help to save the game for Paris. Forward Valentin Chery (200-97) added 10 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nantes moved-up to fifth place. Loser Paris keeps the fifteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Saint-Quentin. Nantes will meet higher ranked Saint Chamond (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Paris will play against Sluc Nancy (#10) and hope to secure a win.
