Very significant was Bucks' (#1, 23-3) victory against 4th ranked Grizzlies (8-17) 127-114. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Grizzlies. Bucks dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Grizzlies' 36 and made 28-of-33 charity shots (84.8 percent) during the game. Bucks had a 46-34 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Grizzlies helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 26 points for the winners. Forward Jaren Jackson-Jr (211-99, college: Michigan St.) replied with 43 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and forward Jae Crowder (198-90, college: Marquette) added 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Grizzlies. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bucks (23-3) have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position, which they share with LA Lakers. Grizzlies at the other side keep the fourth place with 17 games lost. Bucks' next day opponent will be Cavaliers (#5) in Cleveland. Grizzlies will play at home against Wizards and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
