Very expected game when 13th ranked Aix-Maurienne (4-6) was smashed by ninth ranked SPO Rouen (6-4) in Aix-les-Bains 93-68 on Friday. SPO Rouen outrebounded Aix-Maurienne 38-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. American-Nigerian forward Christian Nwogbo (202-91, college: Cedarville, agency: Octagon Europe) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Armenian-American guard Andre Spight (191-95, college: N.Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 16 points and 5 assists. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by DR Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (200-94, agency: Promo Sport ID) did not help to save the game for Aix-Maurienne. Finnish guard Ilari Seppala (188-93, agency: Blacktop Management) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Four Aix-Maurienne players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SPO Rouen moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Vichy Clermont and Quimper. Loser Aix-Maurienne dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
