Regular Season Round 8: Montbrison - CFBB 100-60

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked CFBB (1-8) was rolled over on the road by sixth ranked Montbrison (4-5) 100-60 on Friday. Montbrison forced 19 CFBB turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. Montbrison looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by CFBB's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian Olga Maznichenko (188-91, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Estonian power forward Maaja Bratka (190-92, agency: LBM Management) who added 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Montbrison players scored in double figures. Spanish point guard Binta Drame-Lo (171-2) responded with 21 points and 5 steals and Serena Kessler (181-2) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Despite that victory Montbrison went down to eighth position due to points difference. CFBB lost eighth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with eight games lost. Montbrison will face again bottom-ranked CFBB (#12) in Paris in the next round.
