Regular Season Round 10: Vichy Clermont - Blois 93-99

ProB top team - ADA Blois (8-2) added another victory to their record on Friday. This time they beat fifth ranked JA Vichy (6-4) 99-93. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of JA Vichy. ADA Blois shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by JA Vichy helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyren Johnson (201-88, college: La-Lafayette) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Thomas Cornely (190-91, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 17 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Naturalized Ivorian center Mohamed Kone (211-81, college: Valpo) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (195-84, college: CSUN) added 18 points in the effort for JA Vichy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. ADA Blois maintains first position with 8-2 record, which they share with Souffel. JA Vichy at the other side dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. They share the position with Quimper and Rouen. ADA Blois is looking forward to face SPO Rouen (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JA Vichy will play against the league's second-placed Souffelweyersheim and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
