Regular Season Round 13: Andujar - Cazorla 81-70

Date: December 14, 2019
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Andujar (7-4) beat at home bottom-ranked Cazorla (3-8) 81-70 on Saturday. Andujar forced 19 Cazorla turnovers. Quite impressive performance for swingman Bernardo Castillo (196-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds. Naturalized Antiguan guard Duane James (196-83, college: Binghamton, agency: Green Sports Management) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. James is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Kalei Carter answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and David Garcia added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Cazorla. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Andujar moved-up to second place in Group D-A, which they share with Novaschool. Loser Cazorla dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost. Andujar will face Unicaja-Andalucia (#8) in Malaga in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cazorla will play at home against Martos and hope to win that game.
