The game between second ranked Olympiacos B (9-2) and seventh ranked Karditsas (6-5) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Olympiacos B was defeated by Karditsas in a tough game in Karditsa 49-58. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Olympiacos B. Guard Nikos Kaklamanos (189-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Leonidas Triantafillou (190-88) contributed with 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Petros Melissaratos (205-93) answered with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks and center Vassilis Christidis (207-98, agency: Octagon Europe) added 7 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Olympiacos B. Karditsas moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Olympiacos B keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Diagoras D.. Karditsas are looking forward to face higher ranked Diagoras D. (#3) in Athens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olympiacos B will play at home against Anatolia and is hoping to win this game.
