Regular Season Round 25: Aomori W. - Kagawa FA 77-96

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Kagawa FA (17-6) outplayed on the road 5th ranked Aomori W. (8-16) 96-77 on Saturday. Kagawa FA had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated the game. Quite impressive performance for guard Terrance Woodbury (201-87, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) contributed with 9 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina, agency: SDJ Sports) added 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Aomori W.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kagawa FA have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 17-6 record having just three points less than leader Shinshu BW. Loser Aomori W. keeps the fifth position with 16 games lost. Kagawa FA will have a break next round. Aomori W. will play again at home against the league's second-placed Kagawa FA (#2) and hope to win that game.
