Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Pardinyes-L. (5-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Real Murcia (10-4) 71-63 on Saturday. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 23-10. But Pardinyes-L. won second period 25-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Pardinyes-L. 43-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. American swingman Andre Norris (201-94, college: Dubuque, agency: Duran International) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Real Murcia players scored in double figures. American swingman Wendell Davis (198-95, college: Ashland, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 12 points and guard Raul Lobaco (195-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 6 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Real Murcia maintains third position in Silver with 10-4 record behind leader UBU Tizona. Newly promoted Pardinyes-L. dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. Real Murcia will face Albacete (#6) on the road in the next round. Pardinyes-L. will play against the league's second-placed CB Prat (#2) and hope to win that game.
