Regular Season Round 12: Campobasso - San Salvatore 68-49

Leader Campobasso delivered the ninth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked San Salvatore (4-6) 68-49. Campobasso dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to San Salvatore's 26. It was a good game for Spanish-Argentinian power forward Erica Sanchez (186-76) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Sofia Marangoni (173-95, agency: Two Points) contributed with 5 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Delia Gagliano (180-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and forward Giovanna Pertile (182-92, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 13 points in the effort for San Salvatore. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Campobasso maintains first position in A2 with 9-1 record. San Salvatore at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. Campobasso will play against HS Lab (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. San Salvatore will play against Irpino (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
