Very expected game when 15th ranked Aguimes (2-10) lost to seventh ranked Zentro Basket (7-4) in Madrid 62-69 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for Belgian center Vincent Gielen (208-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Erik Persson (190-0, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with 10 points for the winners. Zentro Basket's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Paulo Rodriguez (201-0) answered with 20 points and naturalized Dominican center Garny Garcia-Nivar (205-89) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Aguimes. The victory was the third consecutive win for Zentro Basket. They moved-up to fifth place in Group B. Newly promoted Aguimes keeps the fifteenth position with ten games lost.
