Regular Season Round 12: Team4Q - Helsingborg 97-74

Date: December 14, 2019
There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Team4Q (2-10) rolled over at home 7th ranked Helsingborg (3-10) 97-74 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Team4Q. Helsingborg was better in third quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Helsingborg 54-35 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American guard Aaron Williams (198-91, college: Chicago St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Forward Felix Carlsson (198-95, college: Monroe Coll.) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 21 rebounds and guard Anton Persson (180-97) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Helsingborg. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Team4Q maintains ninth position with 2-10 record. Helsingborg lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost. Team4Q will face higher ranked Taby Basket (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
