Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Barbera (2-10) lost on the road to seventh ranked Badalones (7-5) 66-62 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Badalones forced 19 Barbera turnovers. Barbera was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for guard Aleix Haro-Val (188-1) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Pedro Cuesta (190-77) contributed with 19 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Badalones' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Larry Ewulu (197-92) answered with 11 points and 9 rebounds and forward Francisco Salvador (200-99) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Barbera. Badalones moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with Valls Nutrion and Salou. Barbera lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Badalones will face Castelldefels (#9) on the road in the next round. Barbera's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Barcelona JAC Sants.
