There was an upset when higher ranked Juvi Cremona (5-8) lost on the road to sixteenth ranked Soresina Gilbertina (3-10) 65-61 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for point guard Filippo Guerra (189-97) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Guard Davide Toffali (196-98) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Sadikh Ndiaye-Ababacar (195-90, agency: Agency) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and Marco Bona (189-89, agency: Two Points) added 21 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Juvi Cremona. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Soresina Gilbertina moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Juvi Cremona dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Soresina Gilbertina will face higher ranked Padova (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
