Another interesting game was again a derby match of two teams from Nassau: Shockers (#3) and Uptown Cuts (#5). Shockers (5-3) won against visiting Uptown Cuts (2-5) 72-67. They outrebounded Uptown Cuts 68-50 including a 26-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. 27 personal fouls committed by Uptown Cuts helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Point guard Lenny Oscar notched a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and Rameno King supported him with 6 points and 23 rebounds. Even a double-double of 21 points and 15 rebounds by Colton Albury did not help to save the game for Uptown Cuts. Guard Mitch Bain (188, college: Iowa Lakes CC) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Shockers maintains third position with 5-3 record behind leader Bahamas Univ. Newly promoted Uptown Cuts keep the fifth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
