Regular Season Round 13: Yamanashi QB - Fujitsu RW 60-69

Very expected game when 11th ranked Yamanashi QB (2-8) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Fujitsu RW (9-2) 69-60 on Sunday. Fujitsu RW forced 19 Yamanashi QB turnovers. International point guard Mio Shinozaki (167-91) stepped up and scored 16 points for the winners and international point guard Rui Machida (162-93) chipped in 8 points and 11 assists. At the losing side forward Aimi Wakahara (171-96) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Moeno Mino (176-93) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Fujitsu RW moved-up to third place. Yamanashi QB lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with eight games lost. Fujitsu RW will face Aishin Wings (#8) in Anjo in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Yamanashi QB will play at home against Toyota A. and hope to win that game.
