The game in Joensuu was also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Kouvot (9-10) played at the court of eighth ranked Kataja (9-9). Kataja managed to secure a 9-point victory 95-86. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 23-21 Kouvot's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 95-86 at the end of the game. Kataja players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for Jamaican-Canadian point guard Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178-91, college: Calgary) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!) and 8 assists. American forward Brandon Walters (208-95, college: MTSU) helped adding 19 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Derrick Barden-Jr (196-92, college: N.Colorado) responded with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import guard Silas Melson (193-96, college: Gonzaga) scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Kouvot players scored in double figures. Kataja moved-up to seventh place. Kouvot lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
