Regular Season Round 3: Al Arabi - Al Wakrah 101-94

An interesting game for Al Arabi (3-0) which hosted in Doha Al Wakrah (2-1). Al Arabi managed to get a 7-point victory 101-94. Al Arabi dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Al Wakrah's 24. They outrebounded Al Wakrah 62-27 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Algerian forward Mohamed Harath (198-90) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds. Bosnian-Serbian power forward Miroslav Todic (205-85) accounted for 25 points and 16 rebounds for the winning side. American Julius Coles (193-89, college: Canisius) came up with 30 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import Musa Abdul-Aleem (196-88, college: Troy) added 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Al Wakrah in the defeat. Al Arabi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Qatar Sports Club.
