The game between third ranked Olimpia (9-3) and 9th ranked Gomel-Sozh (1-10) in Grodno on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Olimpia outscored guests from Gomel 86-35. The game without a history. Olimpia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Gomel-Sozh to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Olimpia held Gomel-Sozh to an opponent 18.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Olimpia will face RGUOR (#8) in Minsk in the next round where they are favorite. Gomel-Sozh will play on the road against BDU Tsmoki in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
