Important game to mention about took place in Cantu. Fourteenth ranked Cantu (5-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging higher ranked Treviso (6-7) 77-74 on Sunday evening. It was a very good performance for point guard Wes Clark (183-94, college: Buffalo) who helped to win the game recording 24 points (made all of his seven free throws). American center Kevarrius Hayes (206-97, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International power forward Amedeo Tessitori (208-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Charles Cooke (196-94, college: Dayton) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Treviso. Treviso's coach Massimiliano Menetti rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Cantu moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Trento and Venezia. Newly promoted Treviso dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. Cantu will face Trieste (#16) on the road in the next round.
