Everything went according to plan in Torino where third ranked Basket TO (9-4) outleveled 8th ranked 2B Control TR (6-7) 96-73 on Sunday. Basket TO looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Kruize Pinkins (201-93, college: USF) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-95) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Basket TO players scored in double figures. Basket TO's coach Demis Cavina felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Kenny Goins (201-96, college: Michigan St.) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Gabriele Spizzichini (195-92) added 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Basket TO maintains third place in A2 with 9-4 record behind leader Edilnol Bl. Loser 2B Control TR dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. Basket TO will face league's leader Edilnol Bl in Biella in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. 2B Control TR will play on the road against Blu Basket TVG (#5) in Treviglio and hope to win that game.
