Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Pogon RS (7-5) won against on the road 9th ranked Jaroslaw (4-8) 91-77 on Sunday. They outrebounded Jaroslaw 44-33 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pogon RS looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Jaroslaw was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Dawid Komandzik (190-97) fired 25 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Wojciech Zurawski (202-76) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Four Pogon RS players scored in double figures. Guard Cezary Guminski (192-94) produced 20 points and Artur Mikolajko (197-79) added 12 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Jaroslaw's coach rotated ten players saving starting five for next games. Pogon RS moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Jaworzno. Newly promoted Jaroslaw keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Pogon RS will have a break next round. Jaroslaw will play at home against the league's leader Wisla Krakow (#1) and hope to win that game.
