Regular Season Round 7: Bnot Hertzeliya - Holon 83-51

Bnot Hertzeliya has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Holon (3-3) 83-51. They outrebounded Holon 42-31 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward GMrice Davis (189-96, college: Fordham) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Four Bnot Hertzeliya players scored in double figures. Bnot Hertzeliya's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Karisma Penn (188-91, college: Illinois) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and Jessica Jackson (192-95, college: Arkansas) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Holon. Bnot Hertzeliya maintains ninth place with 1-5 record. Holon at the other side dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Bnot Hertzeliya's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Ashdod in Ashdod and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
