The game between third ranked Flying Leopards (12-6) and eleventh ranked Eagles (9-8) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Flying Leopards were edged by Eagles in a tough game in Qingdao 101-103. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Flying Leopards. Eagles made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Bulgarian-American point guard Darius Adams (188-89, college: Indianapolis, agency: Wasserman) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 49 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners and American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-95, college: Kentucky) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds. Eagles' coach Bin Fan used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Brandon Bass (203-85, college: LSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 18 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Dejun Han (215-89) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Eagles have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Zhejiang Ch. Flying Leopards at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Jilin NE T.. Eagles is looking forward to face higher ranked Royal Fighters (#7) in Beijing in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Flying Leopards will play on the road against Golden Stars in Jinan and are hoping to win this game.
