There was an upset when higher ranked UR Krakow (6-7) was smashed on the road by eleventh ranked Polonia Bytom (4-9) 104-75 on Friday. Polonia Bytom looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by UR Krakow's players. Karol Jagoda (196-1) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Lukasz Lewinski (186-99) contributed with 22 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Polonia Bytom players scored in double figures. Power forward Tomasz Palmowski (199-97) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Adrian Warszawski (201-96) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for UR Krakow. UR Krakow's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Polonia Bytom moved-up to ninth place in Group C, which they share with Jaroslaw and Bielsko-Biala. Newly promoted UR Krakow keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Polonia Bytom will have a break next round.
