No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked JL Bourg (10-5) beat at home 10th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (5-9) 89-80 on Friday. JL Bourg shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 61.5 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian swingman Danilo Andjusic (195-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 30 points and 9 assists. American Chris Johnson (198-90, college: Dayton) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Naturalized Congolese Jean-Michel Mipoka (198-85) came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Benjamin Sene (188-94) added 21 points respectively for Gravelines-Dunkerque in the defeat. JL Bourg moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cholet and Levallois. Gravelines-Dunkerque lost their sixth game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. JL Bourg will meet higher ranked Monaco (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Levallois (#4) and hope to secure a win.
