The game with biggest result difference took place in Caceres. Local Al-Qazeres (5-8) lost to second ranked Perfumerias Avenida (11-2) 69-55. American swingman Tiffany Hayes (177-89, college: UConn) nailed 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and international center Laura Gil (190-92) accounted for 8 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Jennie Simms (183-94, college: ODU) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of her twelve free throws !!!) and the other American import guard Arica Carter (173-96, college: Louisville) added 10 points respectively for Al-Qazeres in the defeat. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Perfumerias Avenida. They maintain second place with 11-2 record behind leader Girona. Al-Qazeres at the other side keeps the ninth position with eight games lost. Perfumerias Avenida's next round opponent will be Mann Filter (#10) in Zaragoza and are hoping to win another game. Al-Qazeres will play at home against Gernika and hope to win that game.
