Regular Season Round 14: AZS Start 2 - Ostrow Mazow. 76-70

Very expected game when 8th ranked Ostrow Mazow. (5-8) lost to fourth ranked AZS Start II (10-3) in Lublin 70-76 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. AZS Start II dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ostrow Mazow.'s 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Bartlomiej Nycz (188-97) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Ukrainian point guard Aleksander Szczerbatiuk (182-96) replied with 10 points and 9 assists and forward Maciej Cukierda (195-91) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ostrow Mazow.Five AZS Start II and four Ostrow Mazow. players scored in double figures. Ostrow Mazow.'s coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. AZS Start II moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with Tur Bielsk Pdl.
