The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Sant Adria (9-3) in Barcelona on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by fifth ranked Lima-Horta (8-4) 78-50. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Sant Adria. Lima-Horta held Sant Adria to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 43.1 percent accuracy of the winners and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Maria Martianez (189-97, college: ORU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and center Cristina Pujol (178-95) who added 11 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Senegalese center Maimouna Diarra (198-91) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Helena Lopez (166-96) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lima-Horta moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with Girona and Barca CBS. Sant Adria at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Gran Canaria and Ardoi. Lima-Horta's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Barcelona to the arena Segle XXI.
