The game in was also quite interesting. Second ranked Eanna (9-3) played at the court of 7th ranked Killorglin (7-6). Eanna did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 90-71 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Killorglin. They outrebounded Killorglin 52-36 including 41 on the defensive glass. Eanna looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Killorglin's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Eanna made 8 blocks. Serbian forward Stefan Zecevic (196-93, college: Keiser) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American guard Josh Wilson (190, college: Idaho Coll.) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. At the losing side American guard Allan Thomas (193-90, college: Georgetown, KY) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Colin OReilly (200-84, college: Post) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eanna keeps a position of league leader. Killorglin at the other side dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Templeogue. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
