Very important is a home loss of third ranked Pistons (11-19) against fourth ranked Bulls (12-19) on Saturday night. Host Pistons were defeated by Bulls in Detroit 119-107. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. Bulls outrebounded Pistons 46-29 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. Bulls players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by guard Zach LaVine (196-95, college: UCLA) who scored that evening 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Bulls' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds by center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: UConn) did not help to save the game for Pistons. Forward Markieff Morris (208-89, college: Kansas) added 23 points and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Bulls moved-up to third place.
