Regular Season Round 60: New York K. - Milwaukee B. 102-123
Date: December 21, 2019
Very expected game in New York City where 5th ranked Knicks (7-23) were crushed by first ranked Bucks (26-4) 123-102 on Saturday. Bucks looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bucks made 14 blocks. Knicks were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) who added 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Five Bucks players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Julius Randle (206-94, college: Kentucky) with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Canadian forward RJ Barrett-Jr (201-0, college: Duke) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bucks maintains first position with 26-4 record. Loser Knicks keep the fifth place with 23 games lost. Bucks will face league's second-placed Pacers in Indianapolis in the next day and it will be for sure the game of the week.
