Regular Season Round 15: Klodzko - GKS Tychy 68-63

An interesting game took place in Klodzko where 7th ranked GKS Tychy (6-7) was upset on the court of tenth ranked Klodzko (5-9) 68-63 on Saturday. Strangely GKS Tychy outrebounded Klodzko 41-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was point guard Marcin Kowalski (175-82) who scored 18 points and 6 assists. Point guard Karol Kutta (172-96) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Michal Jankowski (191-87) who recorded 15 points and 7 rebounds and Pawel Zmarlak (195-82, agency: Promotex) added 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Klodzko maintains tenth place with 5-9 record. Loser GKS Tychy keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Klodzko will meet at home league's second-placed STK Czarni in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GKS Tychy will play against Biofarm PZN (#13) in Poznan and hope to secure a win.
