Not a big story in a game in Pireus where 9th ranked Anatolia (4-8) was defeated by second ranked Olympiacos B (10-2) 74-62 on Saturday. Olympiacos B outrebounded Anatolia 39-27 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of center Petros Melissaratos (205-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and guard Vaggelis Tzolos (192-91) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Ioannis Tozios (209-90) with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian Uros Duvnjak (190-86, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points. Four Anatolia players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Olympiacos B maintains second position with 10-2 record having just two points less than leader Charilaos TM, which they share with Diagoras D. Anatolia at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth place with eight games lost. Olympiacos B will face Pagrati (#15) in Athens in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Anatolia will play at home against Diagoras D. and hope to win that game.
