There was an upset when higher ranked Monfalcone (9-4) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Corona Platina (7-7) 84-74 on Saturday. Center Antonio Lorenzetti (195-95) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Alessandro Corno (192-92) chipped in 22 points during the contest. Matteo Schina (180-1, agency: Players Group) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Giulio Casagrande (197-93, agency: Players Group) scored 22 points. Corona Platina moved-up to eighth place in B. Monfalcone at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Corona Platina will face higher ranked Lecco (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Monfalcone will play against Mestre and hope to win that game.
