Very expected game in Aviles where 13th ranked ADBA (1-11) was defeated by seventh ranked Real Celta Vigo (7-5) 76-68 on Saturday. Real Celta Vigo outrebounded ADBA 37-24 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian forward Elo Edeferioka (188-93, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Breanna Richardson (185-95, college: Mississippi St.) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Jone Azkue (180-95) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Kenyan center Mercy Wanyama (185-92) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four ADBA players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Celta Vigo maintains seventh position in Group A with 7-5 record, which they share with Patatas Hijolusa. ADBA lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 11 games lost. Real Celta Vigo will face Pozuelo (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
