Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Miedzychod (7-5) lost on the road to second ranked Trefl II Sopot (9-3) 87-82 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Miedzychod was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Benjamin Didier-Urbaniak (195-1) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points. Center Mateusz Kowalski (208-0) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Trefl II Sopot's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Adam Chodkiewicz (199-90) replied with 21 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the former international point guard Jaroslaw Kalinowski (180-79) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Miedzychod. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. They have an impressive seven-game winning streak.
