The most exciting game of round 17 in the BLNO took place in Tromso. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 5th ranked Tromso (8-9) to sixth ranked Gimle BBK (7-9) 73-71 on Sunday evening. Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Swedish guard Adam Johansson (191-0) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Cam Gregory (203-95, college: Loyola, MD) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and Bahamas forward Kevin Altidor (196-90, college: Young Harris) added 18 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Tromso. Four Tromso players scored in double figures. Tromso's coach Chris Warren rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gimle BBK maintains sixth place with 7-9 record. Tromso at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. Gimle BBK will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Tromso will play on the road against the league's second-placed Fyllingen BBK (#2) and is hoping to win this game.
