Regular Season Round 14: Lecco - Bernareggio 55-76

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Tessilform Bernareggio (12-2) outscored on the road 6th ranked Lecco (8-6) 76-55 on Sunday. Tessilform Bernareggio dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Lecco's 22. They outrebounded Lecco 43-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Swingman Stefano Laudoni (197-89) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Davide Todeschini (188-93) chipped in 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. Naturalized Argentinian guard Marcos Casini (188-80) responded with 16 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and center Tommaso De-Gregori (203-98) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tessilform Bernareggio have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in B with 12-2 record. Loser Lecco keeps the sixth place with six games lost. Tessilform Bernareggio will face Omnia Basket (#5) in Pavia in the next round. Lecco will play on the road against Corona Platina in Piadena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
