There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Badalones (7-6) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Castelldefels (7-6) 75-60 on Sunday. Castelldefels forced 19 Badalones turnovers. Forward Eric Manes (194-87) had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Rafael Puerta (196-98) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Castelldefels players scored in double figures. Forward Pedro Cuesta (190-77) responded with 12 points and 7 rebounds and center David Carbonell (201-94) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Badalones' coach gave the chance to play for ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Castelldefels moved-up to sixth place in Group C-B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Badalones. Castelldefels will face Barbera (#14) in Barcelona in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
