Regular Season Round 15: Toyota B SR - JX-Eneos S. 69-93

An interesting game for JX-Eneos S. (13-1) which played road game in Aichi against second-best Toyota B SR (11-3). First ranked JX-Eneos S. had an easy win 93-69. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota B SR's 30. They outrebounded Toyota B SR 51-26 including a 23-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. JX-Eneos S. looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a good game for power forward Tokashiki Kurume (193-0) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. The former international Saori Miyazaki (167-95) contributed with 5 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. The former international Yuki Kato (179-97) answered with 19 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Nanako Todo (175-0) added 15 points in the effort for Toyota B SR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JX-Eneos S. have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-1 record. Toyota B SR at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Toyota A.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
