Regular Season Round 14: MKS DG 2 - Bielsko-Biala 82-76

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Bielsko-Biala (4-9) lost to fourth ranked MKS DG 2 (9-4) in Dabrowa Gornicza 76-82 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. MKS DG 2 made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Point guard Pawel Jurczynski (183-91) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists. Power forward Przemyslaw Paduch (202-3) contributed with 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. MKS DG 2's coach Wojciech Wieczorek used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Robert Kozaczka (199-81) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Wojciech Zub (185-95) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bielsko-Biala. MKS DG 2 moved-up to third place in Group C, which they share with AZS AWF Mick. Loser Bielsko-Biala dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. MKS DG 2 will face Unia Tarnow (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bielsko-Biala will play against AZS AWF Mick. (#4) and hope to win that game.
