An interesting game for Edilnol Bl (11-3) which hosted in Biella 3rd ranked Basket TO (9-5). First ranked Edilnol Bl managed to get a 12-point victory 83-71. American forward Ed Polite Jr. (196-97, college: Radford) notched 19 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Giordano Bortolani (193-0) supported him with 23 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Edilnol Bl players scored in double figures. Edilnol Bl's coach Paolo Galbiati used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 15 points by American guard Derrick Marks (190-93, college: Boise St.) did not help to save the game for Basket TO. Daniele Toscano (196-93) added 8 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Edilnol Bl maintains first position in A2 with 11-3 record. Loser Basket TO keeps the third place with five games lost. Edilnol Bl will meet league's second-placed Fortitudo AGR in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basket TO will play against Orlandina CdO and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the Serie A just one year after relegation.
