There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Roser (3-10) edged at home higher ranked Valls Nutrion (7-6) 79-77 on Sunday. Swingman Adria Tort (191-90) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Albert Sulleva (196-89) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Roser's coach Juan Hereza used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Jordi Bergada (188-99) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Roger Riu (198-89) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Roser and four Valls Nutrion players scored in double figures. Roser moved-up to eleventh place in Group C-B, which they share with Palma II and Olivar. Loser Valls Nutrion dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Roser will face Olivar (#12) in Zaragoza in the next round.
