Everything went according to plan when second ranked Pas Pielagos (10-3) beat on the road 5th ranked Solares (7-6) 91-78 on Sunday. Senegalese power forward Pape Seck (207-92, college: Simon Fraser) scored 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Matthew Dahlen (201-95, college: St.Martin's) chipped in 14 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Pas Pielagos players scored in double figures. Pas Pielagos' coach Jose Ignacio Alvaro used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. British forward Connor Murtagh (196-94) responded with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Sergio Garcia (195-95) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Pas Pielagos have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group A-A with 10-3 record having just one point less than leader Lliria. Loser Solares keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Pas Pielagos will face league's leader Easo in San Sebastian in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
