Regular Season Round 15: Fujitsu RW - Aishin AW 70-40

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Fujitsu RW (11-2) crushed 9th ranked Aishin Wings (3-9) in Kawasaki 70-40 on Sunday. It was a good game for forward Chikae Uchino (177-93) who led her team to a victory with 13 points and 4 assists. Swingman Uchio Satachi (177-97) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. International Kiho Miyashita (179-98) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and center Baiq Ghua (185-92) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Aishin Wings. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Fujitsu RW. They moved-up to second place. Aishin Wings lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost. Fujitsu RW will face Hitachi Cougars (#10) in Hitachinaka in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aishin Wings will play on the road against Chanson V-M in Shizuoka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
