Regular Season Round 15: Denso Iris - Niigata R. 97-69

Bottom-ranked Niigata R. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 14th consecutive match to fifth ranked Denso Iris (8-4) 97-69. Denso Iris dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Niigata R.'s 32 and made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Niigata R.'s coach Tadaharu Ogawa gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Denso Iris. They maintain fifth place with 8-4 record. Niigata R. lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. Denso Iris will play against Yamanashi QB (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Niigata R. will have a break next round.
